I’ve discovered heaven…Turns out it’s on sale at Costco and it comes in a cute little portable container. Meet Nutella & Go.
It’s basically the gourmet version of Pocky. And I love it that much more for taking a favorite childhood treat and turning it into something that can appeal to grown up palettes. (That kiddie chocolate was not quite up to Nutella’s standards.)
N&G joins these Meiji Mushrooms, also from Costco, in being the grown up (sort of) version of all your favorite Japanese treats from childhood: Hello Panda, Pocky, and YanYan…with better tasting chocolate.
Nutella & Go comes in a cute little divided container with Nutella on one side and crunchy cookie sticks on the other: dip, eat, repeat.
I like that Nutella & Go has enough chocolate to go with each cookie stick. There is nothing sadder than those leftover plain cookies after you’ve finished all the chocolate. (I’m looking at you, YanYan.)
David and I are obsessed with these. We like that they cover so many of the things you want in a snack: crunchy, creamy, sweet, chocolatey. They’re divine.
(Here’s an aside, did you know that Nutella is Italian? When I was younger, I thought it and Ferrero Rocher were French and that Kinder was German, but it turns out ALL of these amazing chocolate items being imported from Europe were Italian. Mind blown. Turns out Ferrero Italy is like Meiji Japan.)
They are perfect for throwing in your bag for when you are out and need a chocolate fix, or when you just want a treat that is really, really Instagramable.
